While wandering around on Instagram, saxophonist Laurent Bardainne discovered a young swiss Italian rapper, Ele A. He instantly fell in love with her rap, which is strongly influenced by jazz. He immediately contacted her and proposed a collaboration. Ele said yes and finally chose the track ‘La vie, la vie, la vie’ to pose for. And as if by magic, the title finally became “C’est la vie” with a beautiful chorus sung in French, in the middle of the verses in Italian. When Jazz Rap goes Italian!

Au fil de ses pérégrinations sur Instagram , le saxophoniste Laurent Bardainne découvre une jeune rappeuse suisse italienne: Ele A. Il a instantanément un gros coup de cœur pour son flow. Il la contacte et lui propose une collaboration sur le titre «La vie, la vie, la vie». Ele accepte et après quelques échanges le titre devient finalement «C’est la vie» avec un beau refrain chanté en français, au milieu de couplets en italien.
