5 years anniversary compilation

A nice compilation (Only Digital release date : 07 Dec. 2012) to celebrate our five years with classics, new, unreleased and exclusive tracks from our upcoming projects.

Could not begin without paying tribute to Byard Lancaster, the spiritual godfather of the label which sadly left us this year. Resumption of his “blue train” coltrane is a legacy. Then you find the hits of this year: “gogo soul” by Rongetz Foundation with Gregory Porter, “Brand new revolution” by Guts, “Warm My Soul” by Blundetto, and an excerpt from our latest reissue Solis Lacus.

On the news side, there is a new extract from Jacaranda muse first album, the Zimbabween quartet that will play in Paris on our 5th birthday party with Anthony Joseph and Fulgeance we find here with his famous remix of Doug Carn. Anthony Joseph offers us his furious rendition of “Soca Boat” and is also found along Robert Aaron with the magnificent “the saddest kiss”

On the exclusivity side you find here a preview: MonkeyRobot, an extract from the second volume of our compilation DIGGING THE BLOGOSPHER, a new
selection of discoveries on the net, may be the stars of tomorrow.
And also the first extract from our next compilation of spiritual French Jazz “Freedom Jazz France”, an rare and unknown song , the mysterious but beautiful Octet De dreux.

***
